STUDENT LEADERSHIP

At Maramba Primary School, we believe in empowering students to be confident, respectful, and responsible leaders. Student leadership begins in the early years with the election of the Student Representative Council member from Year 1 to Year 6 and grows with increasing responsibilities as students progress through the school.

Our Student Leadership Team includes:

  • School Leaders

  • Community Engagement Leaders

  • Peer Mediators

  • House (Sport) Leaders

  • Performing Arts Leaders

  • STEAM Leaders

  • Sustainability Leaders

  • SRC Representatives

Students in Years 5 and 6 lead weekly assemblies and help run whole-school activities, building public speaking and teamwork skills. Leadership responsibilities rotate each term or semester to give more students the opportunity to contribute.

Our SRC Representatives meet regularly to share ideas, lead initiatives, and support fundraising for the school and wider community. They are passionate about promoting social justice, taking action on important issues, and ensuring all student voices are heard and valued.

At Maramba, we foster leadership across all year levels to ensure students feel heard, valued, and proud of their school.
