SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

At Maramba Primary School, our School Psychologist plays a key role in supporting the wellbeing, learning, and development of our students. As part of our commitment to ensuring all students thrive in their learning, our psychologist works closely with our teachers, leadership, and families to help meet students’ academic, behavioural, social, and emotional needs.

Our School Psychologist can support students, staff, and families in a number of ways, including:

  • Helping teachers with strategies and support—both in and out of the classroom

  • Running assessments to better understand a student’s learning or behaviour

  • Meeting with teachers and families to plan support

  • Providing direct support for students with mental health or wellbeing challenges

  • Supporting adjustments to learning programs for individual needs

  • Helping build a positive and supportive school environment through whole-school wellbeing initiatives.

If you would like more information or think your child may benefit from support, please contact our school office or speak with your child’s teacher.
