On 2nd March, the Year twos visited BUPA Aged Care Facility in Narre Warren as part ofour Discovery unit, Growing Older and Wiser. Luckily the weather was on our side as we walked there safely, staying sunny and dry. When we arrived, we performed the Macarena to the residents. Both the students and residents had lots of fun doing activities including: making dreamcatchers, making towers using playing cards, playing with dominoes, playing Snakes and Ladders and reading books. Students enjoyed putting smiles on the residents’ faces while interacting with them. On our way back to school, we soaked in the sunshine as we stopped by the park for some fruit snack.
