What an amazing morning last Friday at Maramba when we celebrated Father’s Day. We had an exceptional turn-out of over 40 Dads, Grandads, Uncles and special male role models. Thank you to all of you for making the time to come along , it was a great morning! It started at 7.30am with a light breakfast of toast, tea or coffee in the gymnasium along with a few games of table tennis and shooting some hoops on the basketball courts. At 8.20am, we all ventured outside on a brisk morning to plant some seedlings in the garden. It was great to see the children and Dads getting their hands dirty together. There were a lot of smiles and laughs so everyone really enjoyed the morning. It is great that as a school we are able to provide opportunities for these special moments to happen and be a part of them – such an important time in all our lives and as a school community.
Special Thank You
Thank you to Bunnings for their generous donation of plants and trowels for the our Father’s Day celebration. A very special thank you to Georgia Rabbitt for her tireless commitment to organising the donation from Bunnings. Your support is greatly appreciated! Thank you to our new maintenance person, Peter for organising the gardening tools and supporting with the planting in the Foundation area. And of course, a huge thank you to our amazing staff for coming to school so early to organise and serve breakfast in the gym. It is only with everyone’s participation in these special events, which mean so much to our students and school community, that make them such a great success!
Thank you everyone!
