ANZAC Day Assembly

Well done to our students for a wonderfully respectful ANZAC day assembly last Wednesday. All classes laid remembrance wreaths at our lone pine and some students brought in their own flowers. It was also great to see that some of our students wore their great grandfather’s medals.

All of the student leaders ran the assembly impeccably. Well done!

A special thank you to the 5000 Poppy community group for donating the knitted poppies to our school. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

A few of our special Year 1 mums (Rathor, Meester, Kaur and Henderson) who stayed after school last Tuesday till 5pm to attach them to the fabric backing.

We have hung the poppy blanket in front of the library so they could be put on display and shared by everyone to help commemorate ANZAC Day.

It looks absolutely stunning!

Thank you very much!
