Book Week Celebrations
We will be celebrating Book Week at Maramba and there will be many opportunities for students to celebrate reading, as we have been doing all year, in our daily program.
Each year across Australia, the CBCA brings children and books together celebrating CBCA Book Week. During this time schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children celebrate Australian children’s literature.
Look out for all the Book Week displays around the school and wider community.
Please note that the Book Week Parade will be held in September to coincide with the Books to Life incursion. Please put Thursday 12th September in your diary and prepare your costumes for what will be a fun filled and fantastic day. We would love to see you in the Gymnasium then if you are available. We are looking forward to seeing all of the amazing costumes and who everyone’s favourite book character is!
